Requirements

To be able to read PDF files you need a PDF reader like the free Acrobat Reader from Adobe. Visit www.adobe.com to get instructions on how to download and install their free Acrobat reader.

If you are unfamiliar with downloading files download the manual first. Click on the link in the paragraph "Manual". Depending on your line speed it may take a while before the window with the content opens. In the manual goto the chapter "Installation Macintosh" or "Installation Windows". Follow the pictured instructions on how to download and install Listening-Singing-Teacher.

To use the program, your computer must have two CPU's (Dual core) and at least 1 GB RAM.

Operating system requirements for Macintosh: OS X 10.4 or higher.

Operating system requirement for Windows: XP with SP2, Vista or Windows 7.

On Windows Systems you need also the component QuickTime from Apple. See below on how to get QuickTime.

Furthermore, you cannot use the program without a microphone.

Installation Problems

If you have an earlier version and have difficulties to install the newest version, try to remove or rename the old installation folder manually before you install the application as follows:

Mac: Move /applications/ListeningSingingTeacher to the trash.

Windows: Unistall and Delete \Program Files\AlgorithmsAndDatastructures\ListeningSingingTeacher.

 

 

 

 

Please let us know if you have difficulties to start the program. We will list all configurations which do not work under the "Support" - tab. Please forward the following information: OS version, Memory, installed Graphic Card (you get this information in the Finder by clicking the Apple-Menu and choosing "About this Mac", to get the graphic card click "More Information" and then "Graphics/Displays").
